Costume Jewelry Wholesale

I keep seeing a lot of new Instagram accounts selling costume jewelry popping up lately. I, personally, don't wear a lot of jewelry and even the ones I do wear are on a daily basis so I don't go changing it up. However, even a simpleton like me has fallen victim to the lure of the costume jewelry retailers. I bought myself a really pretty necklace for my Hari Raya outfit this year.

I used to wonder why suddenly an influx of these accounts, then I realized that it's not that hard to find a costume jewelry wholesale site. They're a dime a dozen!

So if you want to jump on the bandwagon and try your hand at selling some costume jewelry, go ahead and give me a heads up! I'll check it out and might even purchase an item... or TWO! :)

Out of Business

A family friend of ours was plagued with some insurance problems due to last year's Empire Shopping Gallery explosion. Apparently, his business insurance application was not yet approved at the time of the explosion. I have no idea what the follow up of his situation was but it got me thinking about business liability insurance rates and what would I do if I was in a position like that. I guess it's a risk that every entrepreneur has to take.

I have a couple of business ideas that I'd like to venture into but at this point of time, I'm just not ready to plunge into business mode just yet. I can't even handle my blogs and you expect me to handle a family, business, blogs and a cat right now? Not for me. Not yet, anyway.

The Gold Story

I started to read at a very early age. By the time I was 3 and a half years old, I had already taught myself how to read. I read everything that I can get my hands on. And on every story that I read that involved gold, the moral of the story had always been associated with greed, So I knew then that gold is the measure of a man's wealth -- which in turn, always made me dream of finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Nowadays, gold is stronger than ever in the investment market, and before long, I believe that more and more people will be investing more in gold than they do stock markets. For any of you out there wanting to buy gold, you can do so at the United States Gold Bureau.

As for me, I will try my hardest to find a rainbow and beat up some leprechauns! Haha! Time to realize those childhood dreams! ;)

Gold! Poem by Thomas Hood!

Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold!
Bright and yellow, hard and cold
Molten, graven, hammered and rolled,
Heavy to get and light to hold,
Hoarded, bartered, bought and sold,
Stolen, borrowed, squandered, doled,
Spurned by young, but hung by old
To the verge of a church yard mold;
Price of many a crime untold.
Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold!
Good or bad a thousand fold!
How widely it agencies vary,
To save - to ruin - to curse - to bless -
As even its minted coins express :
Now stamped with the image of Queen Bess,
And now of a bloody Mary.

I was talking about gold on my previous post and as I was doing some googling, apparently there was a poem regarding gold that I just had to share! This poem by Thomas Hood said it all.

"To save - to ruin - to curse - to bless -" -- So true! So if you do have some gold or gold coins in your safekeeping, invest in it wisely and don't let it ever go to waste! Or head on over to the United States Gold Bureau to assist yourself in safe guarding your treasure!

Be A Gold Digger

In the Urban Dictionary, Golddigger means:

Any woman whose primary interest in a relationship is material benefits. A woman who cares more about a man's bank account than she does about the man.

But if you take the literal sense of the word, a gold digger is a person who digs for gold, right?

Anyways, the reason I'm bringing this up is, when the dollar faces decline, gold goes up. At the rate the economy is going, you might want to buy gold bullion and start guarding it with your life. No cash to buy gold? That's why I brought up the gold digging option! *laughs*

Historically, gold has proved to be a successful method of preserving value when national currency fails. Your money is usually safe in gold as it will be backed by something physical and solid not just paper. Therefore, when any global crisis hits, there might be a chance that your dollars are nothing more than Monopoly money. Gold might just be your lifesaver then.

So, let's start gold digging! Now we just have to find an untouched gold mine... hmm...

Sisters & Co.

I was talking to my sister last night and we were talking about the possibility of opening a business up when she's graduated from high school. Although I know she has college to think of, I'm still toying with the idea of creating a family business with my sisters. Of course, I've got to think of what our products will be and everything but it's really truly a dream of mine!

But for now, there's just simply loads more to learn, I can't turn into Richard Willich overnight after all!! I know there are ups and downs to businesses especially during these rough economic times, but we'll never know unless we try. Plus, I'm sure our brilliant minds put together would be able to create a brilliant idea too! ihikhik

The Golden Ticket

AUBURN, CA - APRIL 28: A book on how to find ...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

I'm sure most of you have noticed the increase of gold prices in the recent years that it makes you chase for rainbows and look for that pot of gold! Okay, so maybe you don't.. But I seriously and secretly wish for it. Does that count?

Anyways, the recent spike in the gold market is said to be contributed by many factors and among them, is war. People fear that their assets may be seized and that the currency may become worthless. They see gold as a solid asset which will always buy food or transportation. Thus in times of great uncertainty, particularly when war is feared, the demand for gold rises.

I never thought of it that way, but it sure does make sense! Especially in this day and age.. you guys might want to think to buy gold bullion now and keep it for a seriously rainy day.... or a hurricane for that matter.

Gold might just be your golden ticket to survival!

Victoria's Shack!

The exterior of a RadioShack store in a shoppi...

If I had the money to open up a franchise, I think I'll go for a really cool retail brand like Victoria's Secret or something cool like Radioshack! Yeah, Radioshack would be super cool to open up here! I can see running an outlet here! LOL!

However, franchise opportunities isn't that easy to come by and the MONEY to open up a franchise is waaaaay beyond my wildest dreams. rindu

But who knows, maybe I'll hit the lottery or something, eh?? Can't blame a girl for some wishful thinking....

What's Your Deal?

Once upon a morning last week, while I was walking my son to school, I noticed a running car but didn't see the driver. So I finally realized that the driver was outside the car talking on the phone. Sounded like Spanish. Or Portugese. I'm not sure.

I gave the guy a once over and immediately my mind went into imagination overdrive. Nothing in particular triggered my imagination. Well, except for the pimp-daddy-o getup that he was sporting. Shirt half way unbuttoned with a thick gold chain.

The words "drug lord" popped into my head! gigil I know.. I know.. it's TERRIBLE right? But my mind was already coming up with so many crazy imaginations that were both hilarious and scary. Then I stopped myself and thought.. takbole I'm subjecting this poor guy to a stereotype you'd normally see on TV.

For all you know, he could possibly have a legit business as a coin dealer like those dealers from Monaco Rare Coins. How would you know, right? After all, those guys are earning millions just helping investors in the coin investment market - trading gold, silver and platinum bullions as well as other precious metals.

Oh and did you know that in addition, a rare coin expert like Monaco can help you guard against possible market pitfalls and situations a less-experienced dealer simply may not have experienced or be aware of. Rare coin investments are definit a business that everyone should consider investing in. That would explain that guy's shiny black Mercedes. fikir

Well, whatever he is, coin dealer or not, note to self: bring pepper spray. Just in case. sengihnampakgigi

That Silver Lining..

I never really took much heed into metal investments, however, right now, it seems that a lot of people are gearing towards investing in precious metals. Even the price of gold has almost tripled in the last decade.

Even silver makes for a good investment nowadays. Apparently the world demand for silver has exceeded the annual production. Now, doesn't that sound interesting?

Anyways, if you want to check out precious metal investments, you might want to look out for companies like Monex, one of the leading precious metal dealers specializing with the buying and selling and also storage of your precious metals.

Now, excuse me while I look for that silver lining.. gelakguling Lame. I know. I crack myself up sometimes.

What is Stock Option Trading?

I have never understood how people got into stock option trading. In fact the words "stock option trading" is pretty alien to me. However, when I hear a lot of people making a business out of investing in it, it makes me curious, somewhat.

So I did what any other person out there would do. I "googled" about it. That's when I discovered the website that's supposed to help people out in making money through stock option trading. Basically, it's all about buying, selling and trading stocks. Sounds simple, right? But how do you know when to buy or sell or trade and how do you reap the benefits?

That's when I found this website which provides their clients with an internet-based provider that allows investors to filter, and analyze all 3,000+ optionable stocks and 195,000+ options online to find investments to meet your profit goals. Apparently, PowerOptions® is the only option screener tool around that has a patented SmartSearchXL® technology.

Okay so I don't really get what that means entirely, but I know that if you're into this investment, might as well you do it right and try out PowerOptions. As for me, I need to educate myself more before I delve into this!

Salesperson I am NOT!

While sitting here in Coffee Bean, I met one of my seniors from school and we got to talking and stuff and he ended up asking me if I was interested in working in sales. Out of all the jobs in the world I would never ever venture into sales. I'm more of a buyer than a seller! LOL!

I have terrible terrible sales skills and if I was on a sales job search then I would have to be really crazy! So I said no, I wasn't interested and let him know that if I knew anyone who would, I'd let him know. But never say never, right? Hahahaha..

But seriously, I just don't have the skills and heart for it. I am not aggresive and pushy.. instead, a pushover myself. Remember the time I was "forced" to buy an extra McD's sundae?

So yeah, sales is totally out for me but I wouldn't mind being a buyer. Personal shopper sounds super!! Anyone wanna recruit me????

The Apprentice!

Donald Trump's hit reality tv show used to be one of my favorite reality shows! It was just so fascinating and I loved that you could learn great business tips from that show. I mean, who knows what the future holds for me, right? I might just end up on TIMES magazine! ihikhik

Anyways, I seriously think that setting a 12-week jobinterview would really help employers search the cream of the crops for a great executive. However, not everyone has the time or resources for that, so that's why an Executive Search Firm is the best place to go to if you're looking to hire a great executive for your company.

Known for his professional expertise in the area of executive search firms, Dennis C Carey is the man to call when it comes to finding the best executives for your company. Know more about the profile of Dennis Carey here.

But I think if I own a multi-gazillion dollar company one day, I'll have a 24-week job interview for my apprentices.. 'coz I'll need the Tiger Woods of business in my company. I can already imagine.......... rindu

What are my options??

If you asked me about an option screener, I would be the first to admit that I have no idea what it is. Even if I had to make a wild guess, I'd say that an option screener is a tool for us to screen all our options (as in choices) that we're faced with! LOL! I know, I seem like such a bimbo with that statement, right?

Well, just to get it straight, an option screener is a tool used to provide the essential data you need to invest with stock options. PowerOption's SmartSearchXL® options screener technology is the best way to find, compare, analyze and make money on Stock Option Trading.

So for those of you out there already dabbling in stock options, then I guess this is the perfect tool for you!

Loco for logos..

When I was still in primary school, around 10-11 years old, I remember there were alot of girls printing and giving away their "business" cards to fellow classmates and girlfriends. That was the rage back then. It actually had their name, house phone number and house address with a beautiful scenery backdrop printed on the card. It made the girls feel important that time -- handing out business cards to one another.

I didn't have one made that time.. I had no idea how to! However, now I could easily make some snazzy business cards with my own logo design if I wanted to. LogoYes.com allows you to create your own logo design and incorporates that in your business cards. The thing is, it's really not hard at all! They provide just the right tools that make it quick and easy for you. You also have a wide variety of logos to choose from.. and if you can't find the perfect symbol for you, just for a nominal fee, LogoYes.com will help you customize your own logo according to your specifications. You can even trademark your logo!

Not too sure whether it's the right place for you to start off? You could always, try-before-you-buy! sengihnampakgigi I even got one done to show you guys how really simple it all really is!

Tada!! You see! I have mine made! Not that I actually need it.. but what the heck, right?

Hey, Roz! Maybe you should get yours printed out for your cake business! sengihnampakgigi
